Your Largest Organ: Non-Toxic Beauty

I woke up every morning to lemon water. Ate mostly plants. Worked out often. Made my own deodorant. But did I wash my face at night? No! (You can make a gross face, I deserve it...)

Skin health was something I thought about from an inside-out standpoint. I knew I needed hydration. I felt even the "non-toxic" brands of makeup and skin care was still too unfamiliar to me so until recently stayed away from it all. Which I was okay with for awhile, until small sunshine lines started appearing around my 35th birthday. Now what?

Then Debbie stepped in. An aesthetician who gave up her spa to work with the functional medicine doctor I partnered with because she saw a need for high-quality healthy products and real skin care. Talk about integrity. I have since been privileged to get some of her services and let me tell you - I feel and see a difference.

Do you realize how many toxins there are in most skin care products? I strongly encourage you to do your research on what is in your skin care and makeup line. It's SO important. Just because it says buzzwords like "all-natural" and "non-toxic" doesn't mean it's safe. Marketers are smart. The word "fragrance" alone masks a ton of allergens and parabens that can sneak into your deep skin layers and cause damage!

A few months back, I tried a complete skin care line developed by two health coaches. Once I sampled the products, I was hooked! At our office, Debbie Carlson gave me a DermaBlading which removes surface debris and unwanted vellus hair with no adverse effects. The result?
