Summer is HERE and I need to do more workouts in the pool. Any swimmers on here?
No, but I want to be! I really want to sign up for the Loggerhead Triathalon in August but the 600 m swim scares me. The North County public pool has a membership where you can do early AM workouts. Thinking about it...

Swimming can be more than just laps up and down a pool. There is water aerobics, kicking workouts, pool running, water polo and more you can do in a pool to get a great exercise without the impact stress on your body. Exercising in a pool works your entire body heart, lungs, and muscles. And if you do chose to swim laps there is an added bonus of letting your mind wonder and get your meditation in for the day! “just keep swimming”
Thanks, Jen! Is there a good resource for us to go to for workout examples? (Florida novice here!) I really only workout when getting back up on the surfboard or while on the SUP!
