I'm a SAHM with 4 kids. I sell NORWAX so I clean with only water - Way better for kids and the environment. I also work with an organic produce buying club - its amazing! It helps families on a budget eat ORGANIC, SEASONALLY, and LOCAL (when possible). I coordinate for the Jupiter Farms group and I would be honored if you came to get your veggies from me personally - but I know there are groups all over the state and another group may be closer to you. You have complete control over what produce you get. I sign up to get the "FRUITY" box, which is $50, every other week. It keeps me and the kids with PLENTY of fruits and veggies for the 2 weeks and they last really well as long as we focus on eating the softer fruits and veggies first and refrigerate everything. You are always allowed to change it up, make substitutions (except the local box and big box), add on things like organic grass fed beef, and eggs, and their yogurt is to-die for!
Click on the tab that says "This weeks Shares" to get an idea of the amount of produce we stuff into the boxes! I like that it helps me maintain the family grocery budget because I get the best deals on organic produce that is in season without having to research or even read labels at the store (with 4 kids even that is challenging!) Let me know if I can help or if you are interested. If 2 or 3 people who live near each other are interested, one can do the driving and you can "produce car pool" as well! Again, I would love to help anyone out as I coordinate the Jupiter Farms group, but totally get if you need to use a different pick-up location. :-)
